We have definitely outgrown our space on Lyell Ave. We have been looking for a larger space for over 9 months, and finally found what we hope will be the perfect spot. It is 754 South Clinton Ave, in the South Wedge/Swillberg area. We know it is not in Gates, but we are hoping that all of our very loyal west-side customers will drive the extra 7 (ok, maybe 8) minutes to our new Shop. We are hoping to move just before Memorial Day weekend. (Click here for more info) We will still be at the Rochester Public Market every Saturday. Everything else, besides our location, will stay the same - same great spices, same ginding and blending, and same great friendly and knowledgeable customer service. |

On Sat, Feb 16 we will be back at
Mise en Place, 683 South Ave in the South Wedge from 12:30-3pm for tasting and
sampling our spices. Mise en Place is a small, neighborhood grocery that
carries the necessities and lots of great specialty items. They are also a
fantastic restaurant. Ken Holenbeck, the owner, is a wonderful and innovative
chef. You can eat in the Market, opt for take-out or use their catering
services. Stop by and say hello!

Join us for one more tasting! We will be at Gallea's Greenhouse, corner of Clover St and Jefferson Rd in Pittsford on Sat, Dec 8, from 11 am-4 pm. Gallea's is sponsoring a Big Green Egg Cook-out. For those of you not familiar with Green Eggs, they are egg shaped ceramic grills which provide tremendous cooking and grilling capabilities for truly great flavor! They will be using some of our seasonings for the grilled food samples. We will also have some of our seasonings available for sale that day, as well. We hope you'll stop by! You can pick up your Christmas tree, holiday gifts and decorations. |

Have you seen our Recipe Cards? Alright, not exactly recipes, but cards for our different seasoning blends, filled with "Tips and Ideas" on different ways to use that particular blend. They've been a huge hit! When you buy one of our seasonings, ask us if there is a Tip Card to go with it. Right now we have Tips & Ideas for Corn on the Cob (remember this one is great on chicken, roasted veggies & so much more!), Greek Herbs, Island Spice, Lemon & Herbs, Salad Seasoning, Apple Pie Spice, Pumpkin Pie Spice & Burger Blast. We selected these blends because they are so versatile and can be used in so many different dishes. We just want to make sure you get the most out of them! |

This Saturday (July 28) we have 2 new seasonings to share with you all. Bloody Mary Mix - We've come up with a Bloody Mary Mix made of all dry ingredients - the dill, celery seed, Worcestershire, horseradish and everything else is in the dry mix. Just add vodka and tomato juice! (It's vegan - if you're wondering why, check out the page or ask us!) Butcher's Rub - Looking for the best steak rub? Look no further! Large granules of spices for bold flavor bursts along with more finely ground spices for a consistent full flavor in every bite. We know Road Kill is #1 - but this one may just become your second #1 ! |

We had a great time at Ontario Park Beach in Charlotte with the 2012 Roc City Rib Fest. We ate A LOT of food - ribs (Tom), chicken (Vicki), corn on the cob, and great veggies and sides. The music was great every day and evening, and the weather was unbelievable! Alright - maybe a little too hot - especially on Monday! Congrats to our friends at Bad to the Bone BBQ and Good Smoke BBQ for coming in 2nd and 3rd place in the People's Choice Awards! You guys rock!! |
